Hi,

I've installed nightly #94 few days ago :)
CM7 is sooo great that i don't wan't to back to any other stock/custom but i have problem with those Gameloft games:

Order and Chaos, Nova 2, Backstab, Modern Combat, GT Racing, Asphalt 6

Android market tells me that my device is not compatible and so i can't buy/download them.

It isn't so big issue with all those except O&C since i can download .apk from official gameloft webpage but IT IS big issue with Order and Chaos which is only avaible officialy on market (or i don't know any other official distribution option ?)

So ... is it the problem related to CM or Gameloft ?
Should spam Gameloft to fix this or will it be fixed in the upcoming CM builds ?

There's a lot of apps I've come across that wont show the download/install button but doesn't really say why in the market.. it kind of sucks

It's not just with CM7.. using Darky's Rom I there were a few apps (thought less than with CM7, maybe because of the kernel version or other mods?) that the install button wouldn't show up for.

Not just Gameloft.. Also with big games from Come2Us like Third Blade. One keeps getting a "Insufficient space" popup message when installing from the Market. Weird, considering Galaxy S has a huge 1.87GB app partition.

you have this problem because your folder /data/data/ (symlink /datadata/) is full or almost and you can't download the app... or because you have the cache folder full too :)

our problem (and yours too) is different. We can't download various app like mega jump or all gameloft game because they result not compatible.

Is it possible to edit the build.prop on the vibrant version so that I can have the Gameloft games show back up in the Market?  I bought Nova and Asphalt 6 and now cant install them because they do not show up in market.

to see all gameloft games you have to change this line in the build.prop of cm7:

ro.product.device=galaxysmtd    -----------------> ro.product.device=GT-I9000
ro.product.board=aries   -----------------> ro.product.board=GT-I9000
ro.build.product=galaxysmtd   -----------------> ro.build.product=GT-I9000

and use the market v. 2.3.6 (the best)

;-)

EDIT:

i have try to change in build.prop only this:
ro.product.device and it works correctly and i have tried to insert GT-I9100 and now I see alllllllllllll you want :-)
