Cyanogenmod will have ice cream sandwich Android 4.0, in nightly build??
The fact that you even ask this question.. at this time.. shows that you should never be asking questions like this. Please think, read and search in future.

Wait for #86/87 which has a fix for this.. apparently.
Using #87 atm. Still no fix. :(
Well actually this problem does not occur all the time. The phone may play sound via bluetooth vor 1h or even more. But eventually it will just stop and only continue if the screen is turned on. Then it will stop again instantly when its turned off again. Bluetooth reconnect helps most of the times...
When the screen is turned off and the music stops it MAY continue after a few minutes without doing anything. But only for a few seconds, then again pause.
Annoying...

Hello, has anybody the same problem ? Sometimes when I am answering to a phone call and hang up after finishing, the screen keeps black. I have to restart the phone by pressing VOL UP, POWER and HOME.

Any Ideas ? I have installed Nightly #85.

Update: I deactivated the TV OF/OFF Animation. Now it works fine.
But how can I use the animation again without any bugs ?

Update: Now using build #87, still not working with CRT effect :-(

This has been discussed in the past - A few times. Once by myself.  Read the entire thread. Disable the CRT Screen ON effect, and it should work fine. Theres no problems with the CRT Screen OFF effect that I have heard.

ANd read before asking!

I install the 88# update. When open Marke I have a crash:

- The Apllication market (process com.android.vending) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again.

Before install I do the Wipe (data / cache / dalvik).

I try to clean cache and data in Application Manager, but not worked. Try do reinstall Market, but not worked.

What should I do?

Just an update on that issue I had, and wanted you all to know, in case someone will hit this issue like me.
What was crashing at "New Contact" was android.process.acore.
After googling on the net for possible reasons for the "acore" crash, what I was up to after all was that it might be related to sync accounts.
I went to "Accounts & sync", had there couple of Google profiles, Twitter, Facebook and Skype accounts. Removed accounts one by one until I found the reason.
Removed Skype account, and the "New Contact" crash was gone. Crappy skype

I've been having the same thing happen since RC1 and with all the latest nightlies. New Contact always crashes. If I have Facebook sync enabled then I can't access the information of any of my contacts, but with it disabled it only breaks on a few.

Does anyone have any clue why this could be happening? I've tried wiping and restoring multiple times, as well as removing all apps that sync with contacts, but with no luck (and besides, I'd hate to not have apps syncing with my contacts).

Hi everybody :)!

I've tried 7.1 rc first and after few hours i ended up with stock rom due to many bugs i saw there... however today i flashed my sgs2 with #88 nightly and after all i'm really impressed :). Seems that things are going in right direction :).

The following are worth to mention:
- camera app still has some problems... i saw a few FC but i'm unable to find the way to reproduce them. However there is another minor bug which is 100% repeatable on my device. The way to do it is really simple ;): put the device to vertical position, run camera app, turn to horizontal position, switch to video recording, open some tweaking menu (ex. flashlight mode setting). Now, according to my experience with #88 there should by no frames and background around the just-opened-menu. Sometimes another artifacts are visible or font just disappears.
Simple solution to that is: close the just-opened-menu, turn the device to vertical position, open menu - now should look fine :). As a reference to that i leave the screenshot at the bottom.
- gallery performance (really slow thumbs generation), background sometimes disappears - can't reproduce :/, just happens from time to time.
- bluetooth not tested,
- battery life...too soon to judge but seems fine :)

I have one question, i only have the 7.1.0 RC1 mod install, and the only thing that is really bad for me, is that wifi never refresh and connect to a new network,
For exemple if i'm home with the wifi connect to my network, when i reach my work place it connect to the work network without me need to turn off wifi and on after.
Or it stay trying to connect to my home network all the time, either if it can't reach it.

There is any solution for this, withotu having to install a new ROM?

Sounds a bit weird to me but if I were you I'd flash to the latest nightly. They have fixes for many issues in 7.1.0 RC1.

In case anyone else is having a similar problem, it turns out it was the Ice Cream Sandwich Google+ app. Revert to the regular one and everything will fix itself!

Not flash again, flash the new nightly, that is, "update" to the latest version of CM7. You won't be needing to delete your data, so there is no problem about doing it.

Battery life has gotten REALLY good. Forgot to charge last night, and half way through the work day with fairly regular e-mail checking on the device - still at 25%. Been on battery for 1 day 3 hours and 27 minutes.

Let see if I understand, I enter recovery and install the last version of CM7 over my actual version, without wipe data.
Is that ok to do?

Just tested #90. What I observed was constant CPU consumption by system_server (10 - 15%), market FC (also after language change to English US). Wiping data changes nothing, video recording also had problems but fix_permission did the trick. powertop shows 650 - 700 w/s on perfectly fresh and wiped system :/. Does anyone has the same? RC behaved better for me then #90.

UPDATE:
OK, I figured it out what causes so high cpu usage and wake ups. When i disable screen auto rotation everything looks better - near 0% cpu usage and <10 wake ups/s in idle which is really impressive as compared with Samsung stock rom. Actually it behaves the same way on #88 and #90. However i tested this also on stock rom and there is no noticeable difference between auto rotation on and off. Described behavior is true for unlocked screen. Could anyone confirm such behavior?

I installed the "stable" version when it was launched but ran into some issues. So now I switched to Nightlies, and had quite a few of them. Bit scared to install a new nightly because it's been going down hill slightly. I'm on #88 currently and my phone crashes when I receive a call. I can still call myself. Does anyone have this issue with #90? I don't mind a few minor bugs but losing basic functions of the phone is not very handy.

I hope I'm not offending anyone, I do know it's my first post here, and I'm aware I might give the impression that I just came here to complain. That's not my intention though. I really want to use this rom, preferably stable. But I know there's a long road ahead before it will be really stable. And I also know that people are working hard to make things work. Thank you for that.

Build 90 and Bluetooth works fine now. There is only one little "mistake". If I open the contact through my car-radio I see empty entries... I have 2 exchange accounts and only activated one for the contact-list in the phone-app. Maybe this is a problem.
