I have installed #82 yesterday. Overall it seems to be good.

Something I already faced in cm7.1 stable: while listening to music via bluetooth, if the screen turns off and the screenlocker will be activated the connection alwasy breaks.
a) when I push the menu button, that the screens turns on again (screenlock view) the connection establishes again and I can hesr music again
B) when I increase the screenlock timeout and the screen itself turns off the connection to the bluetooth headset stays stable and music is still playing

might this be related to the used blutooth part in cm or somehow to the combination of screensaver / screentimout and screenlocker part ???

On Stable it used to be a lot more, but even now, suddenly the phone hangs and won't respond to anything except the power button. I have to hold it down for about 8 seconds to restart it. This happens like thrice a day.

Also, whenever my phone starts up, it shows me that I have unread SMSs. That's not a big problem though.

Any thoughts?

Exact the same problem... Your fix won't work here though.

I also get the BT issue with the screen turning off.  Battery life is out of this world good.  Been on for 9 hours and still at 83%.  Stunning.

Running #82.

Running the #83 now and it seems to be running pretty slick! Only problem i found was that my contacts was crashing whenever i wanted to see the contact details that had also been in my whatsapp contacts. Only way to solve this was to remove the whatsapp under the account sync. After that i could see my contact details again but some time till the whatsapp sync gets back automaticly. So the problems stays... hope for a fix soon :-) But this is by far the best rom yet... had Lightning Rom 6.1 before this so everything looks 10++!

I installed Nightly 83, and same with the RC 7.1 the phone got very hot (around the camera module) just by being on. I downloaded OS Manager (which is the only software I have installed other than the google apps) and saw that the DRM Protected Storage Content was using up the most resources, so I turned the phone off, let it cool, took out the micro SD card, and that was solved. Then the phone got warm around the same area, and I noticed Download Manager using up a number of resources, but it has never gotten as hot as it did with the SD card installed.

As you can see battery life is also quite bad which I'm sure is due to the high usage. 6% in just 8 min is really high!

However, this has never happened on any other rom I've used, and hope my screenshots and information can provide some sort of clue to what might be causing the issue!Posted ImagePosted Image

Hey there. Quick question. Are able to use video chat function within gTalk with latest nightlies? With the stable version I was finally able to use it, but after installing the next nightly, #80, I have lost this feature. gTalk  seems to be the latest version but can't use video. I have tried to go back by installing the stable version again but with no luck.

Any clues?

My personal best with CM7 was 41 hours from 100% to 4%, on standard battery. Had screenshot of battery usage of that time, but can't find it now.

Wow great work... i'm running #84 and everything i've tested works flawless
the only thing i've to criticize is that the  instruction to flash cm7 requires to much knowhow

Installed 84 but have since gone back to Lite'ning 6.1

A few observations:

- I installed using the instructions from XDA, so I had no issues on my first run with the nightly
- market gave me a few FCs while it was trying to push my installed apps, this was resolved after loading my apps from titanium
- CM7s advanced customization options are great but I preferred the Samsung stock dialer, contacts and messaging apps so in the end that's what drove me to go back to lite'ning
- a big one was not being able to double press the home button to launch Vlingo

Can't wait for a beta for my touchpad!

Thanks to all the devs who work on CM.  The sophistication and support of this project blow my mind away given that it's done with no guarantee of any compensation.

Android System usage has got the highest % use on mine. Wakelocks are
4h 43m of "show keyguard" and
2h 34m of "sleep broadcast".

Can anyone make something of this?

EDIT: This was on Nightly 83..

Yes, simply flash the Google Video package made available where you downloaded CM7 (there are links to it on this site for example) and you'll have GTalk Video chat.
