Id gladly test a new build, the sticky settings bugs are killing me

Ive been running the newest nightly for a few days now.
other than sticky settings i have no issuses at all.

Seems like a straight-up upgrade to the RC. Everything same or better.

[EDIT: Well, I didn't notice anything for a while, but that's probably because I leave wifi and GPS on. See next post.]

After using 20120420 for a lil while I have noticed super sticky wifi ( wont stay turned off ) when it wont work you have to go into the wifi settings to force the wifi to locate signal.

Gps wont turn on and requires a reboot to fix .
Battery life is bad , really bad. Ill upload a pic soon.

My wifi stays off for a minute or two at least- how long does yours wait before turning itself back on? However, I can't get GPS to turn off from the status bar widget at all.

The sticky settings problem and my disappearing SDcard problem from the RC seems to be solved, though.

I think I can confirm the poor battery life. I cooked my phone last summer during a 100+ degree heat wave, so I don't read too much into my own battery life, but since someone else is saying so too...

I'd love to try the 20120420 nightly, but I'm unable to download the .zip file (get "Status Code: 404" error)

I've had no real problems with the original RC1 release, until recently.  After the most recent update to Google Play, I'm unable to download anything (including updates) through Google Play (Error code 921).

Anyone tried RC 2? When I first tried to download it, I got "page temporarily unavailable." Now I get page not found.

It finally worked for me, too. Guess somebody fixed what was wrong.

Just installed. The Play Store FCed while installing, and Google+ crashed while TiBu was restoring the rest of my apps, but apart from that I haven't noticed anything out of line yet. Will update.

Installed RC2 and still have issues with wifi not turning on unless you reboot , and wifi will not sleep , its always on. 10 hours battery life .

With RC2, settings are still having trouble sticking, specifically the settings for mobile networks. I found that rebooting in between choosing some settings will make them stick.

My wifi comes back on when shut off via the statusbar. Battery life was way better than the nightly, though. For me, anyway. With light usage yesterday, I only drained about 40% after 20 hours on battery.

I can't reproduce the sticky menu settings problem that I had with RC1. I did a limited TiBu restore this time, instead of the whole enchilada. I wonder if a lot of our troubles arise from importing previous versions' problems via backup restoration? Has anyone attempted an entirely fresh install without doing any restoration of system settings? I would hate to lose all the time I spent tweaking the thousand different settings available, but if it results in long-term stability, I might be willing to give it a go.

On a related note, I think I'm noticing a pattern developing, where each version seems clean and stable for a while, but eventually FCs start multiplying, eventually necessitating battery pulls. That's when things really accelerate down hill. Does anyone else notice this, or am I committing some sort of operator error?

Anyone know if / when the Droid 2 nightlies are going to come back? We were getting a build every Sunday until October 7th, when they abruptly stopped. Anyone have any info on this?
