Hi all :-)
Just posting to share my experience with RC1. Looks great and seems to have fixed old issues. Problems found:
- Random restarts. Even more that with nightlies (.93 onwards).
- Battery issues. Shows, for example, 40% and suddenly drops to 10% or even shutsdown due to lack of energy.
Hopefully things will go better soon.
Thanks for the efford!

I have been using it too since it came out without any major issue.
No restarts here. My battery after 32h on shows 48%, I used bluetooth, wifi, 3g, messaging, calls, all with success..
Today I got an SD card mount notification a couple of times.
Since this is the 1st Cyanogenmod ROM I ever use, I would like to thank all the developers working on it!

I havent had any problems with the SD card. Have you tried formatting it in EXT3? Since i did so i havent seen that problem again.
Take care!

I spoke to soon..
The battery just dropped from 40 to shutdown in some minutes and after plugging it in with 5-10min charging the indicator says 55%..
I remember reading somewhere about battery calibration and deleting the battery cache, maybe that is the problem?

Sounds weird, but ive allso read about deleting battery cache ... A stand alone battery doesnt have cache, so i guess its some kind of "battery log" Android keeps. If you get to know something ellse about this, please let me know :-) Anyways ill dig a bit more when i have time.
Bye!!

I deleted the battery cache and after my 1st charge the battery again went from 40% to shutdown very fast.

Hi, my experience:
- Restarts: 2 restarts in two weeks. Always closing calls.
- Battery: After a full charge, seems to work well. But in a partial charge, appears to show bad load.
- SD: SD card mount notification a couple of times. Allways after a start, restart or wake up.
- Wifi: Sometimes does not recognize nearby wifi stations. Show "out of range" when the station is close.
In general the performance is better than the 7.0.3 version and the the number of errors is less.
THANKS DEVELOPER

Here my experience:
- Restarts: It happens time by time connecting the USB cable
- Battery: Have wiped battery cache using ROM recovery (after charging to 100%)
accuracy improved after few battery cycle, but shutdown warning issue
at around 14% charge left is too crude, after just few seconds... turn off
- SD card mount: Issue seem to be resolved
- WiFi: Still broken when returning from sleep, it says it is connected but it is not
To restore connection user must cycle the wifi control ON-OFF-ON ... very weird
- Proximity sensor: Completely broken in 7.1.0, screen stay off even when call is over.
Fortunately, it seem has been fixed on latest nightly
- Picture Camera: Zoom not working with slider, if using volume control for controlling
the zoom, after reaching the maximum application crashes (out of index)
- Battery Life: VERY POOR. I've never passed 24h of use (with no calls, just WiFi browsing)
I must probably have some installed software draining battery very fast.
- Overall: User interface is a bit slow with huge lags sometimes after pressing keys.
- YouTube: Decoding in HD mode is heavily stuttering, both in video decoding and in sound.
- Compass: Too many difficult to calibrate, it's a hit or miss affair, and it loose calibration quickly.
- GPS: Take ages sometimes to acquire a fix, even in very good conditions.
My conclusion:
CyanoGenMod is slowly improving, but so far this phone is almost USELESS as a phone, but very handy if you need a tiny device to check emails and surf on the web. Device drivers are not very good, android is unstable with frequent crashes and reboots.
I really hope some smart guys can sort out all this problems, meanwhile i'm still using my old rocksolid nokia 6630 with ancient symbian OS for regular calls.
