Captivate MTD user. Ever since Build 169-173 it broke my USB connection to my computer. All it does is charge the phone.
it's not the cable.. I have 2 cables. USB debugging is on. Tried both. the only thing that works is reverting to 168.Posted Image I have done a full wipe to 173 and still the same issue. Still can not connect to usb storage or debugging. Tried another computer also... Any help would be appreciated thanks.
This is the Droid X forum, you're in the wrong place...

Has anyone had any success getting the notification bar toggles to work right? For weeks now, I can only really do one thing (maybe turn off the wifi or data), and then no future changes work. Wifi turns back on, lockscreen won't reactivate, etc until I reboot. Is there a build from way back in the day where this works?

I have never had any problems with them on mine, they work perfectly. I'm on build 137.

Same here, for the most part the notification bar toggles correctly. I do, occasionally, have the WiFi coming back on, but it's not too frequent.

I'm running nightly 146 now, and it looks like Torch broke again (it previous had worked without the fix), camera/camcorder still broken. I just realized that even after running the fix, Torch is still broken. Wonder if it was something to do with that config file they threw in a few builds back.

Previously I'd been running 136 (I think), and the battery life was atrocious, hope it's better on this build.

My DX screen has started to die, so its farewell guys.
But I scored a Thunderbolt on Craigslist so its onward and upward!  Man 4G is FAST.

Thanks to all that made CM7 on the DX possible and hope to see CM officially supported on my T-Bolt soon.

Really!?!?  May I ask what build you are on?  I'm currently on cm_shadow_full-149 and haven't had working WiFi since about a day and a half after installing nightly 142.  The bizzare thing was that when I initially installed build 142, WiFi was working great.  Unfortunately, downgrading to an earlier build doesn't seem to resolve the problem either.  I don't know about you, but no working WiFi is a deal breaker for me.  I'll probably hang in there for another week or so and try to install cm_shadow_full-15x (whatever number it happens to be) and see if WiFi starts working.  If not, I guess I'll have to revert back to stock firmware.

Any recommendations from the masses who have a fully functional Droid X running CyanogenMod 7.1 would be welcomed.  Feel free to point me to other forum posts, as I have already read about 30+ at this point.  All I've discovered so far are other folks having the exact same problem as me, but no definitive solutions.

What say you?

Here is a picture of my WiFi settings and all is good. My phone was acting really weird and I usually do a full wipe after every third or fourth flash, but I have been so busy that I skipped a couple, lol. So I went ahead and bit the bullet and factory reset and wiped everything. All is working again except torch, no matter if I use the CM4DXfix2 or without it.

Have you tried wiping data when installing a new nightly? Sometimes that resolves strange problems. Otherwise, yes, sbf and reflash, that can also resolve problems.

Yeah, if anyone's still having problems, a complete SBF wipe and reinstallation of 150 is working great for me (except for Torch, it did need the camera fix). Remember to only restore user apps (not system) when using Titanium Backup, that seemed to be the key.

Thanks for the advice fella's.  I really appreciate it!  I figured out a solution to my Wi-fi problems and posted it here:

http://forum.cyanoge...post__p__265813

Everything on my Droid X works now except the camera.  flyoverstates mentioned something about a camera fix.  I guess I'll do a seach for that to see if i can figure out what he is talking about. . .

Thanks again!  :)

It's called CM4DXfix2.zip...I Googled it and found it pretty quickly, I think on the XDA Developers forums. You can flash it from recovery and it'll fix the camera, but it won't fix Torch for the latest few builds. Good luck!

If you flash the new 152, DO NOT USE  THE NEW MIDDLE SCREEN UNLOCK OPTION, it will cause a reboot and you will not be able to get back to your home screen.

Well I finally made it to 100 hrs of uptime. Phone is getting very buggy though lol I usually don't make it past 30 without the gallery freezing and having to do a bat pull. One thing I've noticed is dock service keeps starting up and is taking up 20mb of ram but my phone doesnt ever dock. As soon as I kill it my phone works alot better. Hmmmm

On 154 at the moment, I've been having trouble with the radio toggles for awhile. Not sure exactly, but I think at least since 149.
If I try to toggle Airplane Mode it simply doesn't engage, and doing so manually seems to leave things in an odd state where wifi and 3g might both be on but there is still no internet. Any suggestions?

Do what I did, full wipe and start over. They change so much in nightlies, sometimes it is necessary.

Perhaps I missed the answer to this question in a post elsewhere, but I haven't found it yet.  My question is:

Has development of CyanogenMod 7.1 ceased?  I know that Google released the source code for ICS (Android 4.01) last week, and I've read rumors that CyanogenMod developers have already started working on CM 9, but I didn't realize that forward progress on 7.1 would end on November 16th.  Does anyone know if nightly build cdma_shadow #154  will be the last update for CM 7.1?

Thanks in advance. . .

I upgrade from 140 to 154 and flashed camera fix. Camera works but camcorder doesn't. Is this a known problem? Is there a fix?

I'm having the same issue. I noticed that the camcorder works if you switch the recording mode setting from "high" to any of the others. If you want to record in "high", just switch back. It works like this and the playback works too. However, this is the only way that I could figure out how to make the camcorder work. Hope there's a permanent fix for this issue,

Torch is also broken despite applying the CM4DXFix2.zip
