Greetings all, I downloaded and installed the new v7-RC0 ROM for the X and am unable to register for push updates in the Cyanogenmod settings. It continues to say "registration failed". I have also tried it with ROM Manager premium to no avail where no nightlies show at all.  Is there something I am missing?

Install the nightly from download.cyanogenmod.com or through ROM manager > download rom  manually (make sure you use the "2nd-init" version of rom manager), and the app will recognize it as a nightly and offer updates if you run premium. Right now, its looking for another RC to give you, and the nightly builds don't qualify.

Installing...
Booting now...
CM7 team you guys are amazing!  If I still worked at Nokia I would have lobbied for them to have worked with you guys rather than Microsoft!
Once my phone settles down I am off to donate to to CM and cvpcs - Thanks ALL!
My devices LOVE CM, I just wish they all could be official ;-)

Just downloaded and flashed the latest nightly, v4. It took a few minutes to boot up but it looks good. GPS seems to be fixed and root was retained, unlike in v3. Camera does not seem to work still, and youtube does not as well. I had to flash the new zip for the CRT animation, which can be found on the RootzWiki forums, but it worked perfectly. Im not sure if the battery was improved, but im hoping for the best. Cant wait to play around with it.

Keep up the good work!

Good to know! I flashed SU just in case but I guess next time I won't. No youtube for me or camera, but whatever, this rom still rocks :)

Also, are all types of video unable to play? My saved videos on my SD don't play, just have to make sure they aren't corrupt

http://rootzwiki.com...T-Animation-Mod!

And to your other post, just to be safe I would flash the monster zip and then the nightly. That's what I did and it worked great.

I had issues using the monster.zip - think it was related to leaving my sd card in or just plain DFO.  Ended up SBFing back to 2.3.34.  Once rooted and bootloaded I flashed v4 nightly direct.
So far so good...

Has anyone noticed data randomly cutting off? I have had 3G randomly stop for maybe 5 seconds while it reconnects and the reception bar drops to zero. Its kinda annoying but isn't that bad.

Do Not Use DX2 Bootstrap.  You will be forced to sbf if you want your phone to work.  There is a warning against it on CVPCS's original post.  use if rom manager, or the built in function from power control. Trust me I did it by accident, not a pretty scene trying to sbf right before you have to go to work in the morning.

miss read your statement, i would just straight flash it i would follow the cvpcs's instructions to the t.  Or you can use the all in one installer from p3.  i have used both with no problems, i did the all in one from GB as well as froyo with no issues.

Just wondering if anyone else has noticed that when playing music through bluetooth, any voice navigation alerts through Google Maps become almost muted (you can hear them very faintly with volume all the way up) ...once music stops, navigation voice is back up to normal volume.

Otherwise, EVERYTHING is working GREAT; this is the best thing for the Droid X!!

I personally am going to wait for build 6. I assume that "telephony: LGEStar: Fix data connection teardown" should be a fix to my data woes :)

ok, running nightly 6! USB issues I have been having seem to be solved. Data seems stable, no sudden drop in signal.  SU remains, no issues! Just that camera bug which I may fix with that patch, or wait for official :)

What patch for camera bug are you referring to? I would like to check it out.
