Likely not that important, but observation on battery life (v2.3.5 and RC1). Charging NS4G battery from PC > USB my NS4G will only charge to 94% but when plugged into AC outlet battery status charges to 98%.
Also note that phone doesn't have Bluetooth w/RC1 installed (which I believe was already mentioned. I will probably update to the latest daily tonight)

Maybe I'm missing it, but I'm using the build from August 20 #95. I'm having an issue with sync in that my gmail and google voice don't update nearly as often as they should. I looked around and the old tool to change update refresh is missing. Now, seeing as how I just redid my phone last week, I'd like to not have to do it again for another week or two. I'm not experiencing any other issues so far.

I've been using Ultra Keyboard for a long time, but when I flashed the latest build, it started crashing all the time. I looked at the report info in the log, and it's generating "java.lang.unsatisfiedlinkerror".Any ideas?

Having trouble with built in tether app and tethering 4g. (USB and Wi-Fi both dont work) 4g will be on constant reconnect cycle. After turning off tether the phone wont connect to 4g until a power cycle

Recently the touch buttons on my nexus have been acting up. Sometimes when i turn the screen off the lights stay on. But on some random occasions the buttons
will turn off. I really do not know what is going on. The only thing im worried about is if the lights for the buttons will burn out. so if someone has a solutions please
tell me

I noticed this after the install of one of the last nightlies. I figured out that they stay on when you have a notification (serving as a notification LED since the Nexus S doesn't have one). Clearing your notifications should fix it, but I'm still looking for a way to turn it off.

More info on this... It appears to be related to the user dictionary.

I've switched to Swift Key X for the time being, but I'm not fond of it, so I may try Swype again.

I don't think you're suppose to be able to delete it, at least i can't on mine, so for the time being, let it be.

Nobody has any suggestions about how to fix Ultimate Keyboard? Guess I'll try asking on XDA instead.

It was working just fine until a recent nightly build, so it's likely an issue with CM. I'm using Swype now but still like ultimate better.

Same for me except I use Go Launcher EX. Will try going back to an older build later and see if that resolves the problem.

Anyone know if the accelerometer issue is present in the stable build? I'm on build 138 and still having problems with it. I don't update as often right now due to having to wipe each time because of Google Wallet, but I'd like to have that functionality back.

The accelerometer is a simple fix.

Copy this file:
http://www.mediafire...wihcchmcjo1boh6

to /system/vendor/lib

change permissions to the following:

√ √ X
√ X X
√ X X

reboot your device....now any nightly with a broken accelerometer should have a working one!

It seems the dev team overlooked adding this file in for the last handful of nightlies...it's just missing entirely from the rom for some reason.

As for the stable 7.1.0.1, the issue is resolved....but the battery life is just plain awful!!  I killed my battery from a full charge in under an hour on several occasions, just from playing words with friends...I'd hate to see how fast it would have died if I was streaming video or something else that uses a lot of hardware resources!!

IMHO, the best option right now is to use the latest nightly (fix the accelerometer, if necessary) and install the brand new matrix kernel that just released this morning....it gets unbelievable battery life.  I've been using my phone heavily for the last 4 hours or so and it's still at just under 40%!!! (running build 138 and updating to 143 as I am typing this)

Good to know. I'll update to 143 later since accelerometer is fixed on that version now. I wish that it included Wallet and related libraries so I could go back to updating whenever a new nightly is released.
