I just did the install of 7.03 on my viewsonic GTablet. I went to reinstall my apps and it cannot find my internal 16G sd card. So I tried plugging my USB cable in to try and get to it and it won't make a connection to my computer either.
I previously had TNT Lite and formatted/erased using the boot loader before hand (Rom manager)
Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong and how I can access my internal card and get my USB connection to work?
Thanks.

CM7 does something odd to the sdcard assignments, and it no longer sees the /sdcard properly for connecting to a PC or installing files. Your normal /sdcard files are now residing in /mnt/emmc. There is a program you can install called vold.fstab.zip that supposedly rearranges things properly.
Or if you install a microsd card in the expansion slot, your PC will see that and allow you to connect and transfer to both the microsd and the /mnt/emmc folder.

Thanks. I'd download it, but I have to go pick up an SD card to download it too. LOL
Then again I can probably use the one out of my phone temporarily.

Well the easiest solution was to boot back to TNT, copy the file down, reboot toot to CM7 and apply the patch. It seems to have worked well and I now have NetFlix running too. A nice machine and a great op/sys.

Is there a way to reverse this, either a different vold.fstab.zip file or a way to modify this one to put it back the way it was?

Maybe that also explains why Google Earth won't run? I get an error message that it needs sdcard. I'm surprised more apps don't have problems (so far G-earth and DSP Manager for me, though not sure if DSP problem is for the same reason). It seems strange to me that all /sdcard files have been moved to /mnt/emmc when /sdcard is where all the internal storage is?
#Edit: OK, I got confused by the use of the term "sd card" to refer to internal memory, the /sdcard designation in the root, and the fact that adding an external sd card mounts it as /sdcard. It makes sense to buy an external card regardless. Some threads recommend keeping the OS in seperate memory from applications (internal <-> external) for optimal performance. I also learned that DSP problem is unrelated and requires removal. Thanks for the info.

/sdcard is for an actual sdcard which the internal storage on the gtablet is definitely not.
CM maps it properly as /emmc. This is how Google supports internal, non-removable storage.
You can easily swap the mounting if you don't have a real sdcard.

Hi All,
I have got into a serious trouble. Maybe experts here can help me.
I have installed "cm7.0.2_z71_battery_memory_fix.nb0" and following the instructions on one of the web pages, I have tried to install "cm_z71_full-150" because I had problem in identifying SD card as discussed in this post.
But then, nothing seems to be working. I can literally do nothing as touch screen doesn't work at all. I have tried to use SUT LR to reinstall the OS but my phone status is not connected though it is actually connected.
So its like I my phone is dead and all that I can do is receive calls using green button..THATS IT.
CAN ANY EXPERTS HERE HELP ME WITH THIS? OBVIOUSLY I THINK I HAVE TO DO SOMETHING USING PC as I have no access to my phone.
