Is anyone having an issue when sliding to keyboard. If my screen is already unlocked normally, then I slide to a keyboard, my phone will freeze until I slide it back to normal.

Or if I slide it to keyboard to unlock the phone, the screen doesn't light up at all, or takes a good 15 secs. Also sometimes it freaks out and gets distorted. Its hard to describe that issue.

I am on the latest CM7 7.0.2 stable mod, and had no issues on 7.0 until I updated. If you have solutions to this problem would be greatly appreciated.

I am having the exact same problem and still have had no one to find a solution.

I think it's best to show a video. Maybe I'll do it when I get home.

I am on 7.03 and I am having a similar issue, the information bar at the top of my screen will suddenly cut off and go to the bottom and it throws off the whole touch screen. The only way to reset it, is to reboot, which is not easy because of the touch screen being off. I tried to re-flash the ROM and restore my back up, but the problem continues to occur. Any help would be awesome.

well its gotten to the point i cant use my keyboard any more and its startin to piss me off
im going to reflash to an older mod to see if it helps

well my screen wont even turn on anymore just black. how can i restore it from my laptop? maybe flash an older version through my usb cord?
any ideas

I am having the exact same issues, and I have tried flashing several different Roms, doesn't seem to matter. It is a hardware defect that has to do with the slide feature. I can make it happen by sliding my screen, but sometimes if I slide my screen slow and smooth, it doesn't mess up. Also, with mine, if I tap the power button to make it sleep, and then re-open the screen it usually fixes it. Hope this helps.

My screen is black now too.  I had the battery tested, and the phone seems fine.  I just get a black screen, but sounds like the phone is still working.  Tested the screen, and it's not dead, so I'm confused.   Anyone?

well i belive i figured it out there is a flex cable running from the main board to the lcd. when you slide out your keyboard it rubs.
so i think my went out im ordering the part now flex cable
hopefully this is it

I called T-Mobile and they said that they have not had any reported instances of this problem, but they are sending me a new phone. I wonder if I should erase the old phone before I send it back, they may try to charge me if they discover that it is rooted. But if they do, I'll just threaten to switch to sprint, and they will drop it, I think.

i would definitely un root first and flash a stock mod.  just to be safe

I want to, but I can't find a stock Rom. Do you know where I can find one?

I have been there and every where else, and I can't find it. I guess I will just take my chances sending it in. If they give me any crap I will take my 200 bucks a month somewhere else.

i pay $60 for 3g on iwireless cuz i live in iowa (they run on tmobile)

Hey Odinsblade-- Any luck with that cable? lol, I wanna be sure it works for you before I order one but my screens black now 90% of the time and pretty impossible...ahhhh frusterating :-( Thanks for any info!
