I've had that problem since I started running CM7.  I'm downloading 221 as I type and I'll let you know if that fixes this issue for me.

I did flash build 221 yesterday but it did not make any difference.. My phone froze 3 times yesterday when in "idle" mode, very unpractical when you have to remove the battery to wake up the phone again... This is so bad that I consider going back to stock ROM...

BUT - if this would be fixed, then the ROM would be the perfect thing for me! :) Everything else works smooth...

Try other ROM and see if you get same issue.
Recommendations:
- Temaseks KANG
- Alien Revolution

Im on Alien Revolution now and am really pleased with thisone. Works great with ironkernel if you want to change that.

Both of theese roms should wor by flashing right over CM7 (no wipe needed, but recommended :) )

Thanks, I might try these out. Do you have links to the above ROMs? Do I really need to change the kernel, whats the benefits of doing that?
And I only need to download and flash zip from SD-card, same as with CM7 nightlies?

Yes, copy to SD and flash just as you do with CM7.
Kernel is optional, the one included works great. The benefits might be ease to stability, overclock and batterytime.

Tip: use GetRIL and BatteryCalibrator (you might allready know this but it improves bat.time and call quality and reception, so mention it might decrease the problems :D )

Good luck

I have now tested the Alien Revolution ROM, but that didn't do it for me. I think my phone was much slower ang laggy with that ROM, and I am now back to CM7 nightlies. Everything actually looking quite stable now :D  I have used GO Launcher before on LG stock ROM, and I felt that GO Launcher slowed down the phone, it is getting too complex i guess.. Right now, I think that easier is better.. (ADW Launcher EX).

When I try to turn on the flash while recording a video the camera app usually force closes or just hangs. Do you have similar problems?

LG Optimus 2x, CM7 20120226 nightly, baseband 824.

I get this FC issue as well, although it doesn't always FC, sometimes it just doesn't save the recording as the camera appears to get reset when turning the flash on.

Also I'm still getting unlock screen crashes occasionally. I went a full 8 days without a crash or reboot then the unlock screen crashed forcing a battery out/in to reset the phone.

Whenever I reboot, my G2X's radio is off now. I'm not sure if it is the latest nightly or what.

Is anyone else having this problem?

Anybody any good with reading logcats/kmsg? I've had this problem in the last 2-3 nightly builds (could be a data problem or something on my end) where I'm crashing within a minute or two of a reboot.

Try to start recording a video and then turn on the flash because from what I understand you first turn on the flash and then start the recording.

Just wanted to save time for anyone with the dumb problems I had.

Just upgraded to 7.2.0 RC1 and your google market/play has a server error?
You got the CM9 gapps, you need to stick to the CM7 one from 2011. Just reinstall the correct GAPPS from CWM recovery and you should be good.

USB won't mount your SD card or phone drive to your computer? Enable USB debugging in settings -> applications -> development and try again.

Gosh, it's quiet round here on O2X development front these days!

Is there somewhere else where the folks that used to discuss nightlies here all the time have gone?
