hello i'm running the nightly full #82 is it ok to go to nightly full #83 and just do a data restore ? or is it best to just do a clean install thanks for any info sorry new to the cliq xt was useing htc hd2

When you say 'data restore' are you talking about a nandroid backup?  If so, then no.  You would just be reinstalling whatever the old version that was saved in the backup.  You can flash the new nightly over the old and not worry about losing any apps and such.  The only time I actually wipe my phone clean is when I go from a nightly to an RC version.  Some people say they don't have any problems but I've had too many to deal with and start fresh.

Same question here, I have seen that there are many updates, but still no release date.

Lots of changes for the next version. I'm sure it's gonna be a great build.

But since we pay nothing for it, I think it would be beter to simply wait instead of asking stuff like "when's 87 coming?".

(Holy cr@p...)

We all know its FREEEEEE, and we like it, but I think there is nothing wrong if we ask when the next version is going to be released, do you think it is?

WE ARE JUST ASKING!!!

Look man, I don't know, but if I were a developer, I would get really pissed if people came to the forum to start asking for the next release date.

If you guys are in such a hurry, there's a mod based in this CM7 for CliqXT that has been built with the latest available changes in this URL:

http://www.portaland...php?f=51&t=8557

Click in one of the links on the beginning of the first post pointing to GingerXTBR-234-vBk1.

By the way thanks for the link, I saw it before in grupoandroid but I just want the rom without modifitions!! :D

but...... wow they are adding lots of things to the new version!! OMG

--------------------------------------------------------

EDIT: we were asking for 87 but this version never was released. hahahaha FINALLY 89 is out, lets see whats new!

There was a problem earlier today with the CM mirror network, it was serving corrupt zips for most if not all of the devices. It is fixed now, so redownload and you should be able to use it now.

Can you try this? Remove /system/etc/sysctl.conf on your phone and reboot it, and see if the problem persists.

Same problem with the camera at the build 101. I'm using the 99 now and its seems pretty much stable for me.

Thanks to the developers

Im brand new to this so please help.

I followed the instructions via here: http://wiki.cyanogen...ll_Update_Guide
to install the latest nightly build of Cyanogen, (Specifically cm_zeppelin_full-104.zip)

And everything went fine until I told it to reboot, at which point it did but its stuck on the Motorola Logo screen and nothing is happening.

EDIT: ignore this I entered into recovery mode, rewiped and reloaded, then rebooted and it worked :)
