Just rooted and installed Cyanogen Mod 7 on my EVO. For whatever reason, Cyanogen Mod automatically sends me to setting up an Exchange account and does not give me options for anything else. Without Google integration, Android is quite useless. Could anyone help me out?

Sounds like you forgot to flash GApps in as well. You should have automatically been presented with the opportunity to setup your Google account right after flash if GApps were present. DL the latest version from here to the root of your SD card, boot into recovery and choose install from SD card. Find the file and select it. All should be good to go.

Easier version:
1) Open ROM Manager
2) Tap Flash ClockworkMod Recovery, confirm your device, give it root access
3) Tap Download ROM>Google Apps
4) Select "20110307 (Recommended)", do not check wipe or backup
5) Let RM download and flash the GApps.
6) ???

LOL. This works as well. I wasn't sure if it would just let you flash the GApps from the Manger or if it would make you reflash the ROM as well. Good to know that you can do it this way also.
