When I press the power button to reboot my handset i get the options so select reboot. At this point I used to get another menu offering Recovery, Hboot or normal reboot but this has ceased to be presented now.

Has this facility been removed from the nightlies or have I done something to lose the options?

I am running upto date Nightlies with 2.6.37.4 kernel

Many thanks all.

Do you still have Airplane mode, silent mode and so on in the first menu? And can you receive incoming calls? I had that once and had to wipe data/cache. Then it worked again.

From your picture nothing is missing. The additional reboot options is in the main reboot option. Only when u select reboot option using the power button then u get the following options
- reboot
- recovery
- bootloader

I don't get those last three options. I long press the power button to get the screen pictured. select reboot and the phone reboots without offering any other options.

Can you still get into recovery any other way?  Is your custom recovery still on the phone?

Oh ic. That is abnormal. I'm afraid such "bug" may not have a user solution. Anyway many don't use power button to perform rebooting. Try Quick Boot from market. It has all the rebooting options. Many users uses this app to reboot, reboot to recovery, reboot to bootloader and powering off.

I would suggest not wipe but to use Quick Boot app for now.  See if later CM7 releases solves this issue for u. Its not a major bug that requires a full wipe, at least to me.

I select reboot and hold down the volume down button at present or use ROM Manager. It isn't a serious issue but just an annoyance.
I shall grab Quick Boot now and check it out.
Many Thanks.

Hmm... it doesn´t works to me. (The phone onlye reboots but doesn´t fastboot).
How can this had happened?
Is this ("Common: Screenshot feature via power menu - arcee") the cause?

Have you set  Settings->Cyanogenmod Settings->Interface->Power Prompt ?

I normally use the QuickBoot app anyway, since I would like to postpone the moment when my power button dies.

You need to be holding the volume down button as it is booting up (when the screen is off and continuing when the X comes on the screen). And holding the volume down button will get you into the HBOOT menu, while holding down the trackball will get you into fastboot.
