Given the recent explosion of nightly users, I understand your need for a place to discuss them, and/or ask if other users are having similar issues as you...this is that place

  • DO NOT: Post to the bug tracker
  • DO NOT: Open another thread (I will enforce this with temp bans)
  • DO NOT: Think of this as official forum support; this thread will be strictly user to user support. Don't expect CM-dev help.
** These CyanogenMod builds are highly experimental and unsupported.
**
** Please refrain from submitting bug reports for any issues
** you may encounter while running one of these builds.
**
** Submitting bug reports on nightly builds is the leading
** cause of male impotence.

My experiences so far:
- battery indicator is fixed :)
- no more SD-card unmount/mount problems seen so far (using a 16GB)
- other party hanging up after I called caused a reboot

Well, I agree with you regarding the battery indicator!

My sdcard keeps unmounting/mounting 5/6 times a day... Don't know if I'm losing files or not because I lost all of them a few days ago while using other nightlys lol

Regarding the reboot you mentioned, it never happened to me.

I've seen the SD-card problem pop up again last evening. This was the first time in about a week.
The reboot-after-call-ends hasn't happened again.

Nightly 103 has a problem with root access. Superuser app shows in preferences that 'Su binary voutdated' [sic]. As as result, Titanium backup cannot get root access, etc.

CM nightly 124 has an interesting effect: 178MB total memory and 56MB free.

no more sd card unmount

however, I got some battery calibration with #131, and wyping battery stats does not change anything.

after 2 days battery level was 48% (20% with oldest versions) and the phone shutdown few hours later.

And when charging the battery stay a long time at 99%

I updated to #137 and still had the long time stay at 99% (hours).

I'm using nighlty 140 and it's fantastic!
Without SD problems, nor reboots (1 reboot in 2 weeks).
Light sensor work perfect for automatic bright.
Batery level seems well, but I don't have enough information to afirm this point.

I'm waiting for next RC release, final 7.1.0 is comming!

In my humble opinion, up to nightly #150 geeksphone zero is still unusable.

- other party hanging up after I called caused a reboot
- battery calibration uneffective even after wiping out stats
- stuttering while playing youtube video
- Slow to recover screen backlight after leaving ears from sensor
- Compass almost impossible to calibrate
- Very very slow GPS fix
- Reboots when plugging AC adapter (not always)
- Camera app broken that closes when using zoom
- Excessive battery drain when some applications are not fully close
- WiFi dont reconnect when returning from sleep.
- Unable to install windows drivers (device PW28 unknown)

In a nutshell... an HEAVILY BUGGY FIRMWARE. Not suitable for day by day use.

I really hope someone can sort them out quickly. I try every nightly build but
still experience too much little and slow improvements.

Battery status has regressed, unfortunately, sometime last week.
