I'm interested in porting CM to the Thunderbolt.

Is anyone else interested or already working on this?

CyanogenMod: CM7 support for the ThunderBolt
Would you would like CM7 on your Thunderbolt? Slayher is going to get it done with the communities help. He currently supports CyanogenMod on the Droid Incredible as part of the Team, Main Page - CyanogenMod Wiki

If you can skip Dunkin Donuts, the bagel, etc for a day or two and donate this will not take very long. Lets keep this thread clean and to the point of getting a TBolt into Tony's hands...hopefully on release day.

woohoo. maybe after i get the phone i will donate. i got a new incredible via insurance and i hated sense for the 5 mins i had to use it to root/s-off it

Slayher posted that he has gotten all the donations he needs in order to purchase a Thunderbolt.  That makes me very happy because this Sense crap on the TB is damned annoying.  :(

hey!!! new to cyanogenmod forums.  i have been using cm7 for the last month or two on my incredible (retired), and i just picked up a thunderbolt.  I WOULD KILL A M'F'A FOR CM7 ON THIS THING.  i'm only kidding (sort of).  sense is the worst.  i gotta donate to slayher i can't live like this.

The stock bolt isn't that bad
I still want to see Cyanogen on it.

It could be worse.. and have motoblur on it.  :blink:

I can't help but think that the battery life will be much improved without all the HTC and Verizon crapware running in the background constantly. Looking forward to getting CM 7 on this thing.

i agree, i force closed and set that drm blockbuster app to not auto update and i got better battery life today. i went to work and i was still over 90% :) noticed that gb is better at closing apps that are idle.

Just bought the Thunderbolt last night, and LOVE it, but all my past phones have been stock android and I want HTC Sense gone!  CM7 will rock on this.

Mine just showed up 90 minutes ago and I am now all rooted and ready for CM7.  I already miss it since I was running it on the Inc.

Count me in too...  I gave up on my Droid1 for gingerbread.
The Thunderbolt is rooted and ready to get back to CM7.  :D

I managed to build CM 7 for Mecha last night.  I would like to help Slayher if possible so we can get this out to everyone faster.

Now I just need to get my phone booting it up - hopefully today.

I'm also waiting on CM7.  Upgraded from my trusty Droid.  This Thunderbolt is FAST.

Oh god how I hate HTC sense, It's soooooooooooo bloated just got my Thunderbolt LTE is awesome!!!! I live close enough to the airport to get it. But god I hate bloat. ADW EX and Gingerbread Keyboard ain't enough for this cowboy I need my cm7. Devs please save me.

I'm waiting patiently.... do we know if there will be official support for the Thunderbolt? I love all the devs trying to port CM7 but I'd really like to see something official.
