I just took a listen and I'm getting the same thing (upgraded to the 60 nightly last night) - it's a low volume white noise, even on 'silent mode'.

Never noticed this before either. It's even present with the screen off, just not so loud as with the screen on. I'm still on 7.0.2 though.

Which screen shot app are you using, and what was your fix? Still green tint on nightly 61 and pink with oc kernel. 7.0.3 listed in cwm tonight, but not there. =(

Screen Shot It

Same issues you were seeing in terms of tint, with the addition of a overall blue tint, depending on configiuration.

The app has a setting that is called "Invert Colors" for use if screen shot colors are wrong. Checking that fixed the tint issue.

OK. Just noticed that 61 prevents the nook from being properly recognized by my Windows 7 Desktop.  Boot into CWM and the device is immediately recognized correctly/

I have the same issue running on an SD. I am now running #63 from an SD and am not able to turn on USB storage from the NC. I press the ongoing alert "USB connected" and it looks like it wants to open but then disappears not allowing me to connect to the computer.

Email continues to have a bug in latest nightly (http://code.google.c.../detail?id=3243)
Wifi still has issues: though not as bad a before, it still takes 10+ minutes after a reboot to get wifi to work

7.0.3 is based on 2.3.3 and nightlies are 2.3.4 so it has messed a lot of people up where they had to do a full wipe to fix. Myself included. Stick withe the nightlies.

Same here on a eMMC installation.

well i wasnt going to get a tablet untill next year but now the nook has its own forum im very tempted,
once i install clocworkmod would it be the same update process as my htc desire? as in recovery then wipe then choose zip? the thing that is confusing me is the booting from sd on the rom part i understand clocworkmod needs to boot from sd but i want to install cm7 to the device not the sd
sorry for the long post

I highly recommend visiting the Nook Color - Android Development forum on XDA.  That forum is more active, and the info there is more up to date. (Hopefully it is not against the rules to post this link, just trying to spread info...)

That depends. Is 48 pounds too much for international shipping? It sounds a little high.

Perfectly fine to share info. Thanks. Sounds like 2.6.32 is gaining some ground. May see a nightly soon.

#67 seems to have fixed this issue.

I'm having problems flashing 1.3 OC kernel on 7.0.3. Boots up to black screen. Tried fix discussed earlier but no dice :/

I'm still running build 55 from last week. Judging from the discussion, it seems more stable than recent builds.  Bluetooth works.  The range is very limited but I don't care that much. It would be nice to have a reliable headset eventually.

This is a rehash but the biggest issue is still battery life/sleep consumption. I know the new kernel will address this in time. So, until I see a build that addresses those things, I'm sticking with what I've got.

I'm running #67 and the OC kernel@ 1.3 OnDemand.

Between 11PM last night and 7:30 AM this morning the power level went from 88% to 85%, so sleep isn't perfect, but it is getting better.

Fix is same as before but change to ext4. Worked for me.
