I just started a couple minutes ago installing CyanogenMod and it keeps having the logo with something spining around it and it keeps repeating and wont let me press anything.Is this normal?

Depending on how you prepped your phone for the install. Did you Root your phone? Did you install clockworkmod? Do you have a backup of your previous phone?
The first time i did my phone it took 45 min. to complete the first run of cyanogenmod.
How long has it been `spinning`. if it has been over an hour.
I would suggest you start again wipe your phone and reinstall
