Not sure what I did...but I left work yesterday at 4pm pst and battery was at 99-100%(always plugged in laptop USB at work). I have not charged it since either from laptop USB, a/c adapter. It's now the next day around 10am pst and I still have 58% battery left! Nnnnnice(Borat voice).
I have done some sms, web browsing and misc tasks with apps.

Too me, this a great battery life!

So nothing yet for the Rogers Dream?  (radio 3.xx)

I am in the US and just converted my wife's Rogers Dream over to 2708 the other night using the info in the 2708 thread over at XDA. http://forum.xda-dev...ad.php?t=831139

Was very easy to convert over and now her radio isn't dropping off like it was... :)

How do you install the new spl, radio, and recovery from the phone? I am running a rooted rom so I know how to flash a rom from boot but have never been able to get to work with adb.

I have a HTC Magic 32b.

Hi i was wondering that after you update radio and spl and install it correctly, can you revert back to original hboot 1.33.2005 and radio 2.22.23.02 Please reply :D

Yes, you flash it the same way in fastboot.

successfully up and running on my mytouch 1.2. some things are a little laggy but overall it is surprisingly stable considering it is in such an early stage. definitely stable enough for everyday use. hope to see an update soon or maybe even an official nightly (fingers crossed). there is hope for cm7 for ds yet!

the only complaint i have is the new music player. if anyone can point me in the direction of the old android 2.2 music player i would greatly appreciate it. i would pull it off my phone myself but my usb cable is fubar so adb is out of the question

go to http://developer.and.../sdk/index.html to download the android sdk... you use fastboot through command prompt

So, how does it run compared to 2.2/CM6.1.0?

If it's slower than CM6, I am not even going to give this a passing glance until I see some optimizations.

Honestly its quite a bit slower than cm6. I reverted back to cm6.1 nightly 307. Its the quickest and most stable build of cm I have found. I would wait for an official cm7 build before trying it.

the thing is, gingerbread doesn't really offer that much more than froyo did. i want all the extras that cm has, so if i have to stick with cm 6.1 for that, thats fine with me. if you are looking for a stock experience thats fine, but ill stay with cm 6.1 until some official cm7 build is available. there is no replacement for cyanogenmod!!!

i am no rookie when it comes to all of this. but, i flashed the new radio and spl and still couldn't get this to boot. i restored my backup and it stills shows old radio. i have tried it 3 times. any idea why that would be? i'm using a mt3g 1.2 running exGingerbread. all i wanted to do was add the cm features back to my phone. and i disagree that gingerbread doesn't offer anything new. i am getting MUCH better battery life than i ever did with froyo.

I really like the unofficialCM7 allot of nice features, runs smooth. I do notice in quadrant on the 3d tests nothing gets above 9fps, and scores usually 280-300. Same with with the source repo crews mod. GingerYoshi1.0RC4 gets fps like cm6.1 and scores 320-340.  Not sure what the difference is between the different GB builds. But having fun with them all.
