Actually two days ago my phone rebooted while using Nav and I'm running bumble bee...think it just depends on one's phone.  I use a car dock that's on my windshield but out of the sun.  Checked it multiple times while driving and it was warm, but wouldn't say it was hot.  When it did reboot, after maybe 30 min of driving, felt it and it was scorching.  Held it in front of my A/C and just had my gf run Nav on her tbolt.  On the topic of the car dock...if anyone uses it...when you take it out do you still have the icon on your status bar and need to to click it to exit dock mode?  Really annoying...

Yup have had that problem when I wipe too...like you need to manually join some contacts, and I think I remember having this issue when I first installed facebook before I rooted my phone.

Had mine reboot a few days ago while Nav'ing with it. It was very warm. I notice too, that while in NAV mode, with GPS and full screen brightness, my battery doesn't charge. Seems like the car charger is just barely keeping the phone treading water. I had a a bad connection for the first half of the trip, and ran my battery down, fixed the connection, got a charge indicator on the phone, and it stayed in the red for the next 3 hours.

In another forum people have reported that this appears to be a conflict between CM7 and GoogleMaps 5.x. One guy reported that going back to GM4.0.0 resulted in elimination of the reboots. Others said that the latest GM 5.x with stock ROMs resulted in no reboots, another that he had reboots on a different GB ROM so it might be an issue with GM5.x and GB ROMs on the D1.

Looks like 117 dropped in the last 1/2 hour... I received an update notice for 116 this morning and cancelled it, got in the shower and 117 notification was up. Downloading now...

Well this is new...or at least I've never heard of it.  Checked my phone this morning and had an exclamation mark in my status bar like you get when the phone fails to send a text.  Although this time it was for a failure to sign in to google...and my signal bars were white.  Clicked on it and it brought up a thing to enter the text on the screen with the funky letters (sorry not sure how else to describe it, like when you're creating an account for a website).  Tried two times and no luck...tried tricking it and toggling airplane mode, no luck, reboot, and it comes up again.  Tried three times (third times the charm!) and it finally worked...working fine now as far as I can tell.  I'm on 114.

I got that going to 116, but logged on after only typing it in once.

117 is out, but if you're already on 116, no need, no changes have been made ...

A note, anyone else use SMSPopup ?

I find as of two nightlies ago thereabouts, that on occasion if I hit reply on the popup itself, it just goes back to the desktop instead of bringing me to my message thread to reply.
NBD to me so far, as it is intermittant, and not a dealbreaker, but let's see if it isn't isolated to just me.  :)

No sorry, I use the Car Home from TheSpinningHead. Does your phone exit out of car dock at all when you remove it? Maybe the magnetic sensor on the phone is getting stuck.

On the overheat issue have you modified your dock at all? Since I did this to my dock I don't get overheats as much anymore unless the phone is in direct sunlight.

That's awesome!!! No I never really thought about it as I don't really use Nav often, and it doesn't overheat unless I'm using Nav.  Mainly use it w/ a Locale condition so it reads texts to me... I don't even have a car charger.

To be honest, not only seeing that, but the more I learn about how to mod, customize, improve, etc my phone the more I want to "mod my life"...my car, computer, house, girlfriend (jk!) haha

Yeah it does exit out.  Like it exits the Car Home "home screen" and goes to my "normal" home screen.  But the icon remains in the status bar and I have to click it to "fully" exit.  Locale also knows my phone is out of the dock.

EDIT: removed pic

Anybody check the change log for tonight's Nightly?

Now, THAT's a change log :-)

I get off work at 7:30am, so if someone could wake the bot a little early, that'd be great ;-)

Yup,

Like "Change I58191ccc: Contacts: fix UI glitches" myself, adds the space back between the label and number ...

I'm grabbing now ...

chikimonke, grabbed Pete's 900, did you have to do anything other than just flash it to get 900? (CM saw it as 900 when rebooting?)

About to flash it, of course, if it doesn't work out, then I'll have to reflash 119 itself, or, hey, make a backup first!  :)

(update: ahh, I got it, set the high end on the gov in CM settings, 900 was there, running interactive), good so far, allowing the phone 5 min from boot to set itself up ...

"Show custom app icon and name on lockscreens instead of messaging (android_frameworks_base)"

I'm kinda not likeing this one, at least, the stock messaging icon looks somewhat bad compared to the others in terms of style on the lockscreen.
(the others are "flat", if you have had it set before, you know what I'm talking about, it was a flat dark messaging symbol, and matched with the others)

I'd be happier with a toggle for the last icon that was used or to toggle the app icon off, allowing one to choose. That might only be needed for messaging here.
But that said that's hard work to do ... I can live with it.

I also found the option to have batt status forced on the lockscreen all the time, nice! (Don't know if that was part of this one, or I just found it, but who cares? :)   )

http://review.cyanog...om/#change,6314 <--the one I've seen most confusion/discussion about sadly

As they say in IT Crowd...Have you tried turning it off and back on again?

Agreed. As a Google Voice / Cyanbread user, my lockscreen is looking pretty ugly these days.

Yep, you got my point all right!

Mine is the slider, but I wouldn't mind going back to the darker flat messaging icon.

I do understand the change, but it conflicts with the overall style of the lockscreen itself. Only way I see a workaround is if one can code to make each icon selectable, and I
wouldn't begin to burden someone with that chore ... (easy for us to just say change it without a coding understanding eh?)

Trying to build the nightly last night, I got an error that boot.img was too large. Anyone else compile their own nightly get this error? I haven't made any changes to the source.
