Given the recent explosion of nightly users, I understand your need for a place to discuss them, and/or ask if other users are having similar issues as you...this is that place

  • DO NOT: Post to the bug tracker
  • DO NOT: Open another thread (I will enforce this with temp bans)
  • DO NOT: Think of this as official forum support; this thread will be strictly user to user support. Don't expect CM-dev help.
** These CyanogenMod builds are highly experimental and unsupported.
**
** Please refrain from submitting bug reports for any issues
** you may encounter while running one of these builds.
**
** Submitting bug reports on nightly builds is the leading
** cause of male impotence.

Well, I'll kick off then.

I've installed cm_buzz_full-2 and on the whole have been really impressed.
Touchscreen, wifi, camera all work. No force closures or boot loops yet. The low res makes the icons in the notification bar look a bit blurry compared to the dedicated sense ones but that's just the icons, not the ROM.

Only thing I've noticed not working is the GPS and (disappointingly!) the screen off anim :)

So no satnav until the GPS appears but otherwise top notch.

It's also a lot faster than the stock, IMO.

GPS works in the nightly 0 (first nightly build)

Thank you very much CM team for this great work!

CM7 works really great under my wildfire!
I've got the CyanogenMod-7-01172011-NIGHTLY-BUZZ and everything is working !
(I haven't tryied bluetooth)

GPS, camera, animated wallpaper, wifi, market, all animations...
And I really enjoy AWD launcher!

I had only one auto reboot in 3 days!

for me, this should be an RC :)
Thanks!!

I`ve installed the newest Nightly (cm_buzz_full-6) and no problems so far.

But I can`t connect to hidden SSID Wifi...

With my Nexus One I don`t have this problem since CM7 nightly builds starts.

Thanks for this great work!

i have been running CM7 for about a week now. nighly 4 that is.
I am totally happy with it and it only seems to have some realy minor bugs:
- i do have the bluetooth bug also (but since there's plenty of other ways to store stuff, this is not so important for me)
- i dont seem to get notifications working other than constant red light (not so bad either, but a little annoying, since i always think i am running out of battery)
- sometimes lock-screen is not working
- i dont seem to be able to get some apps. for instance gmail. i did install the goo-pack and maps, market, talk etc. work just fine. simply the gmail-app doesnt even install. even recoverying from backup didnt work. i added an account into K9-mail, which i am using, but that doesnt seem to sync right...
- dropbox always gets a network error message when opening, even tho network is working just fine...

i really like the mod and will now flash the newest nightly to see what might change.

havn't said thanks so far for this, so THANKS guys!! i played with other roms before and for my wildfire nothing had worked till now :)

this weekend i tried nighly 24 and yesterday (since it had bugs) nighly 26. main prob is, that both of them have a dialer fc on my wildfire. i had to go back to nightly 18 (which ran stable) via wipe and nandroid restore....

not recommended!

I have a friend who is getting an upgrade and will likely give me her wildfire. I'm really psyched to have a second device so it can just be a dev device for me. I'm just going to run the latest nightlies until CM7 full is out and well supported.

Unless anyone has some advice for me, I just planned to use unrEVOked and throw CM Recovery on it.

I installed #47 couble of days ago, for a while it kept rebooting randomly then it was OK for a while, but after I installed gapps (gapps-gb-20110120) and all it did was reboot again and again. After that even when I wiped and flashed #47 without gapps it was very unstable. Then I tried flashing #48, but the same (even without gapps). I'll try #49 today and see how it goes.

How can I give some valuable feedback to devs?

As stated on xda-forums: newer nightlies use a kernel 4.2, which seems to have some issues. I have had good experiences using kernel 4.1 and apply it directly after updating the nightly before rebooting.

Hey guys
After installing the latest nightly (released after the RC), my wildfire today bricked.

It sort of boots but with no screen or lights or anything, can't get into even the bootloader!!
USB connects ok so theres some life but cant find any way of 'sorting it' from the computer as i cant get into the bootloader.

Any ideas?

Otherwise its my paperweight from now on :/

Cheers
