Yeah I noticed, it had the same issue--whatever happened between nightly #41 and these newer nightlies is causing extreme battery drain. Hope the phone isn't dying on us.

What's the best way to go about that? I usually just wipe "/system" from within Clockwork.

I think so.. my guess is that something in Titanium Backup was restoring the problem. I just restored the things I needed and everything seems to be working pretty well now on nightly 66.

@Gman18

the dalvik engine is the app engine for android, it is based on java.  I can't describe it more technically than that, but the dalvik cache is basically your app cache, you would want to clear it because some settings may be different on a different version of android.

@sbell7105

i can confirm that netflix works!! the market won't give it to you, but you can get it here: http://forum.xda-dev...6&postcount=491

-------------------------------------------------

i have been having some random issues, just wanted to post them.

seemingly random force closes on some of my frequent apps:

fail log (works about 70% of the time)
browser (sometimes it won't work at all, message says "acore")
i was getting force closes when clicking a number in the browser to pull it into the dialer.  This was fixed once i switched to nightly 72 and ran fix permissions.

i have gotten reboots when using maps sometimes, today it actually froze and i had to pull the battery.

I am on nightly 72.

other than these issues, and they are fairly minor, it's been working smooth as butter, Thanks CM Team  B)

Running Nightly 74. Everything is super quick. However, gps performance is still rather finicky. Sometimes I can get a lock in 20sec, others I have waited 5 minutes + with no success. Any suggestions?

74 Killed my screen. all the buttons still work but the touch part does not. at first it was just landscape and then throughout the day the portrait stopped. reflashed.. same issue. tried redownloading and reflashing.. still same problem. cleared everything and downloaded a third copy using a different browser.. same issue.

Have you tried to revert back to 72 and see what happens? I'm on 74 and have no problems at all, everything works great for me.

no. i tried all three stable roms too and the screen still wont respond to touch. iv tried everything i could think of and im stomp. im going to assume that my phone is f*cked. this all started as soon as i tried 74. but what puzzles me is that it didnt suddenly stop.. first it only stopped when keyboard out but i could close it and it be fine still in landscape. then gradually stopped working completely. the touch sensor still works (sometimes). i have never had this issue before and have never dropped my phone or bounced it around. i asked the repair shop around here about that and he said that its not a hardware problem because of the behavior of it when it stopped working. he said its most likely a issue with a driver hard coded into the phone for the touch screen that the nightly could have corrupted. true or not im willing to believe anything at this moment

Not a hardware issue? To me it sounds like a faulty ribbon cable.
