The newest radio is on the first page of the slide android development section on xda's htc slide page. Post is titled newest slide radio. It's provided by Chiefzreloaded. Hope that helps.

The file is titled froyo_slide_radio.zip. just download it and flash via cw recovery.

I've had an ongoing problem with my gps, I'm now running build #54 and still my slide takes a very long time locking on to the gps signal in Google navigation and also strangely enough when the turn by turn navigation is finally up and running the blue navigation arrow often turns backwards and to the side while driving anyone else having the same problem its been pretty frustrating any help would be great?? Oh and i am using the latest radio.

The issue with navigation is in build 32 to build 42, but fixed in build 54. You might want to try a clean install and flash the radio too.

My girlfriend's Slide is running nightly #41 and has wifi troubles. It stops working if wifi is enabled and the phone goes to sleep. Turning it off and back on again seems to fix it, and then it works again.

Try flashing a newer build, like build 52 fixed my gps!!!!:) but wifi is currently choppy, I am going to flash 7.0.2 to see if the wifi and gps problems goes away. Will report back later.

Me too, no problems at all. Yesterday everything was force closing, so this is a big improvement.

Do you all use the stock CM7 kernels or is their anyone in particular I should be using thats better than stock.
Also can SetCPU be used?

Thanks,

Thanks,

I know some people use a custom kernel and some just use the stock kernel. I personally use the stock CM7 kernels, it just really depends on your preferences, such as the question which is the best ROM, it all depends on you :D SetCPU can be used, however, correct me if I am wrong, but within cyanogenmod settings, there is a setting just like SetCPU, so it may be redundant to install another CPU governor due to contradictions and such. Hope this helps!

So now we have a final "working" 2.3.3 build with 7.0.2... right in time for 2.3.4.. I can't wait for cyanogen to get their hands on that. I'm really interested in the new gtalk feature :D. Maybe someone in the nexus S forums will make a addon for their devices that I could snag the gtalk apk from. Do u think it would work universually?

So when can we expect the next build?? I'm addicted to getting the lastest builds and I'm a little tired of waiting lol. Plus my phone had an episode today where I lost all my connection to the network(3g, hspa, edge) and didn't work for about 6 hours and now my battery takes forever to charge. I don't want to blame 57 on this but its really randoma nd idk how to explain it.

Ok, calm down buddy, first of all, if your a little tired of waiting, then you should make your own ROMS :P jkjk, but still, would not want to have your phone bricked just to try out new functions right? has to be stable enough to be a nightly :) I personally have not flashed 57, but is still running 7.0.2, so if your phone is acting up, just flash the stable 7.0.2. BTW, new release, #59, may or may not flash, dont want to ruin what is stable for me right now  Posted Image so yeah. If you are definitely tired of waiting and having loads of problems, well, sorry to say, your gonna have to wait or just simply revert back to a stable build for you :) we are (for the most part Posted Image ) experiencing the same pain and problem.
