Given the recent explosion of nightly users, I understand your need for a place to discuss them, and/or ask if other users are having similar issues as you...this is that place

  • DO NOT: Post to the bug tracker
  • DO NOT: Open another thread (I will enforce this with temp bans)
  • DO NOT: Think of this as official forum support; this thread will be strictly user to user support. Don't expect CM-dev help.
** These CyanogenMod builds are highly experimental and unsupported.
**
** Please refrain from submitting bug reports for any issues
** you may encounter while running one of these builds.
**
** Submitting bug reports on nightly builds is the leading
** cause of male impotence.

Not gonna lie. The screen off animation made me geekgasm a little bit.  Just make sure to download cm7 and the GAPPs to go with it.  Install both at once to save some hassle.  Otherwise no GAPPs for you.

Loving CM7, but I miss one feature, having battery percentage displayed on the battery icon. Any word on getting that back in the future?

Currently on hold since the % + the vertical battery icon = ugly as poo :)

May change, but thats the current status

Actually, im on a themed CM 6 that's supposed to look like Gb, its called Cyanoginger, and its got a really good battery percentage with it. Just something to consider.

If I already have gapps saved on my sd card, will I have to reinstall it? and how would I do both at the same time? Installing the new nightly as I speak! Will give feed back as soon as I know more.

Its been stuck on the T-Mobile boot screen for about 5 minutes now, starting to get a bad feeling. lol, I'm afraid to pull the battery cuz I know that can cause bricked status, so I guess I'll wait a while longer.

Never did load, had to run nandroid recovery. Anyone else have this issue?

There is a new version of GAPPs.  I didn't realize until after I installed new rom and they didn't work.  I would download the new one tho

me confirms 2.5.x is working fine for it :)

screen scroll is a bit buggy at the moment... real slow for a few seconds... perks up after a while though no worries.

I flashed cm7 from 6.1.1 earlier today, and noticed I didn't have market. So, I installed a version of gapps that I already had on my phone. When It restarted, the phone will boot to the cm7 boot screen, then keep rebooting to the same screen. Additionally, I connected it to the usb. The "connect to usb" screen displays now, but then keeps rebooting to cm7 splash screen. Is there a way to recover or is my phone bricked?

np - just run the nandroid backup (that you hopefully ran before installing a first night, nightly ;) )
