[CM7] Discussion of Nightlies

I hope the Genius button functionality isn't included by default, I'm much happier using vlingo, even if I do get the occasional FC message on CM7 so far.

i've been trying to find any replies with wifi issues, but haven't found anything for nightly build #5.

I was experiencing the problem you describe and it went away when I ran Fix Permissions and then rebooted.

You should boot after flashing, and then reboot it. The second reboot clears up the wifi issue.

I just updated to nightly v7 and I can't find Swype anywhere. I have looked in several areas of settings. It doesn't appear as the default keyboard either. Anyone know what might be wrong?
Also, I don't seem to have the Genius button working, as I have read above that it is supposed to be. When I push that button I get a Google Search window, but no opportunity to use voice recognition (except for the tiny voice search button on the Google search bar).
I also flashed the 20110120 version of gapps at the same time. I don't see any difference. Am I missing something??
And, lastly, every time I try to go to Settings > Sounds, I get a Force Close. I have tried fixing permissions, but that didn't help. Anyone else getting that? Or do I maybe just need to flush the data for the Settings Storage app?

Build #7 doesn't have Swype in it from what I've read so use the beta.
For the Genius button to work, you have to flash this:

OK. Thanks.
Could someone point me to a download of the Swype beta? When I Google search, all I get is stuff that is six months old or so. And I don't find it in the Marketplace.
