#156 does not vibrate when an email on Gmail has been received. There is also no setting for vibration under notification settings.

Hi~
Anyone know if I can push the com.android.future.usb.accessory.jar via adb?
cause when I try the Microchip open accessory starter kit, eclipse keep saying
Installation error: INSTALL_FAILED_MISSING_SHARED_LIBRARY

I saw in logcat, it is about this library, I search on the internet, try to push the jar and the xml via adb

first, it either said it is read only or out of memory...
then I try to boot into recovery mode and mount the /system
use the adb push again, seems it's ok...
but when i reboot the legend and try it again in eclipse...the same error comes out
I don't think it really push the files

I saw some forum that someone change the kernel config of his G1
something like blahblahblah.accessory = y
seems like to enable the use of the usb accessory in the kernel
and someone said 2.6.32 is partly enabled for accessory and 2.6.35 support it...
but as I know nothing about the kernel, i don't know where to start...

so i would like to know did anyone try using com.android.future.usb.accessory.jar
or anything about the open accessory on the Legend?

With latest nightlys I have a battery drain problem (currently #161).

When I enable menu option [Cyanogenmod settings]>[Lockscreen]>[Disable lockscreen on security], it prevents deep sleep and reduces the standby period.

Yeah, I noticed, too. The last nightly was 2011-08-31.

There seems to be a general problem. If you look at other devices also there are no more nightlies since 1'st of September.

Still no joy for the Legend's nightlies though... I really hope there is nothing wrong, but I know in my heart that development for this device can't go on... At some point the older devices will be dropped, but I really hope we'll be able to run Ice Cream Sandwich (smoothly).

Yesterday updated to #176 (from 7.1.0-rc1) what a relief:
- better gps (have to do some more tests)
- no wi-fi reboots (yet) and seems faster.
I only did a dalvik-cache clean (and backup of coarse)

Thanks Cyanogenmod team :-D

I have just updated to #195 nightly from ROM Manager and I have done a Wipe Dalvik-Cache (as usual).
When the system has been rebooted i have noticed that i have lost some apps. Has anyone suffered the same?

Edit:False alarm. Few minutes after the apps appeared.

I have no more GPS on #196 nor on the newest #197. As a matter of fact my gps didn't work on the #176 neither, it did work on the #175 though.

If anyone could tell me if I need to install new wireless drivers, thanks. If I need to provide more detailed information about my device, I'd be glad to, but I have no clue what I should provide...

Build 176: gps works, smallband version 47.39.35.09U_7.08.35.21, kernel 2.6.32.17-cm-g849ffc7.
From the update to 7 I had to update to that smalband version

I have smallband 47.26.35.04u-7.05.35.26L…
Can't seem  to update because of edify stuff...

Anyone some tips on how I could update  it anyway? Thanks!

------------------------------------------------------------------

Found out how, flashed RomManager Recovery 5.0.0.1 and then the radio flashed. I've found that this is'nt the latest version of the radio, there seems to be an 7.13.XX.XX out there.
I know for drivers and such that newer doesn't mean nessesarily better, but hey I can only ask right. I've googled but I can't find much info on these Radio thingy's that's really informative on what does what and what's changed in which version and so on...

Tnx for the help so far!

PS. What's up with the kernels, does anyone know a link with som info for me to read up on? I want to get the most out of my device!

All this said, on some forums I've found that there are different opinions on radio's and GPS. Radio's shouldn't have anything to do with the GPS and they talk about a placebo effect.
Well, my GPS didn't work, and it does now... That's not a placebo effect :D.
What's up with that?

Installed the latest version (47.51.35.17_7.13.35.05), works like a charm...
