not that I've seen, but Im not a fan of clockwork so not really looked. Prefer using Amon_Ra.

Has anyone managed to install LauncherPro? just keeps refusing to install from the market or FC if i push it via adb :?

The change to Flykernel-12a did the same it has done in every ROM I've tried it with: WiFi speed slowed down to about a sixth of the speed I've had with Flykernel-12pre2.

This is very consistent, the WiFi speed is ok with Flykernel-12pre2 together with any Froyo or Ginger ROM, but gets slow with Flykernel-12a no matter what ROM I try it with.

I managed to install LauncherPro from Market without any problem.

No, 2.5.0.1 is latest (afaik), unless you're refering to the apk itself, in which case v3.0.0.7

Please pardon any ignorance as I am new to Cyanogenmod nightlies, however:

Android Market is not included with the CM7 nightly build (cm_hero_full-5.zip) that I've just downloaded and flashed (is this normal?), and any version of the APK I can find on the internet (both pre- and post-gingerbread) will install but force-closes as soon as I try to launch it. I've done a clean install with the latest ClockworkMOD recovery image available from the ROM recovery app (I think this is 2.5.0.7 EDIT: think I meant .1, not .7).

Does anyone know of an APK that will definitely install and open properly with this ROM? Or of any fixes that might solve my constant FC problem?

What you are looking for is called "Gapps": a flashable zip with all google apps which are not allowed to be distributed with the ROM.

Also see here: http://wiki.cyanogen...ion#Google_Apps for more info. You need to flash this zip after you've installed the ROM (but only once unless you do a full wipe).

In some countries these apps aren't published.. Then you will have to find an older Gapps, with all of the apps included...

I had the same problem
so I downlaoded the gapps zip for CM6 and extraxted the gmail.apk from the zip
then u only have to install the apk from your phone, u can use Astro for this

anyone having trouble registering for CyanogenMod Update Notifications?

Am getting an error saying I need a Rom Manager Premium Licence. (Yes I do have the Premium version)
it worked fine on beta3 and let me register, but no joy so far on the nightlies..
