Given the recent explosion of nightly users, I understand your need for a place to discuss them, and/or ask if other users are having similar issues as you...this is that place

  • DO NOT: Post to the bug tracker
  • DO NOT: Open another thread (I will enforce this with temp bans)
  • DO NOT: Think of this as official forum support; this thread will be strictly user to user support. Don't expect CM-dev help.
** These CyanogenMod builds are highly experimental and unsupported.
**
** Please refrain from submitting bug reports for any issues
** you may encounter while running one of these builds.
**
** Submitting bug reports on nightly builds is the leading
** cause of male impotence.

I went to see if there was a new nightly and they were all gone... Then I realized what was going on. Bring on the Gingerbread!

I wonder why the 11/14/2010 gaps is 18mb in size while the one with gb 01/15/2011 is only 4.44 mb? Then again, the earlier version I have is hdpi while this later version doesn't say one way or the other...

Read the CM7 sticky on the front page of the HTC Evo Experimental Mod Forum.

Basically it only includes the Market and the apps needed to run the Market. Other Apps like Gmail and Facebook and Voice Search are no longer included and will all need to be downloaded from the Market now.

Thanks for the info... I must have missed that sticky or it hadn't shown up while I was first viewing this forum. Well, so far seven devices have builds.. I'll have to get it tomorrow.. have to get up at 4am and if I start messing with it now I will never get any sleep! :-)

Is anyone else having issues getting SIP to work.  I looked in logcat, and it is giving a "Out of Network" error, and dropping outgoing calls before they even hit my asterisk server.  Incoming calls appear to work fine.

I've heard reports of GPS Issues and I'm experiencing the same. It takes a while to lock on, and then will randomly loose it's location while using it.

I like this build a lot, I hope 4G gets implemented quickly since it seems to be working well on 6.12

I am looking to upgrade into CyanogenMod7 Nightlies from CyanogenMod6 Nightlies. Been using Nighties for a few months.

What is the best way to go about it, as recommended by the developers?

Would these be the best versions for 3.70.xxx.x?

Tried gapps from the sticky and it flashed fine but now gmail and YouTube FC and fail to open.  Gapps from lithids posts were working fine.   Anyone else having trouble?

Fixed by uninstalling and reinstalling.  Wiping data would have solved this but is unnecessary(if ur comming off a cm7 build). Suspect when I flashed the new gapps the old data was there though I had to get the apps off the market.  This I guess would cause force close.

I tried the gapps there, and Gmail, Google Voice and Maps were all FC and not opening.  Went back to lithids for now.
