you can try "fix permissions" in rom manager, if that wont help flash it again with full wipe. On my device everything is working great

i installed it today. I have to admit that is seems a little bit faster and less FC than before (like for the launcher).
However i think that the battery life is crap again. it is depleting pretty fast.

U r right..not the best bat life. After 6 hours im at 69% with little use. In the past it should be around 80..

Hi, just a quick question.. I'm not sure what is the latest gapps to use with the new 2.3.4 nightlies as http://goo-inside.me/google-apps/ hasn't updated  the box where it says cyanogenmod 7. Can someone point me to the correct apps for DZ?

New CM7 nightly runs very smooth for me :)

I've been trying to google talk audio/video with a friend of mine using a samsung galaxy s running the latest nightly on both devices.
In Talk we click our own name, and enable audio and video, at my G2/DZ I then see a microphone appear next to my name.
And my friend sees a camera appear next to his name on his device (sgs).
But we are unable to (video)-call.

I guess my question is, did anyone got it to work yet? I know it says in rom manager that the gapps is still experimental, im just wondering if anyone did get it to work yet.

Second question would be, does anyone know if there'll be support for video-calling on the G2/DZ? even though we dont have a front face camera, it would be nice if we could still use the camera we do have.

Thanks!  :)

Latest nightlies fixed my GPS.. at least mostly.  When using the google navigation app it loses GPs signal and can't find it. Going into another app doesnt fix it right away either.  Opening and closing google maps a few times sometimes gets it back without a reboot.

7.0.3 started giving me all kinds of wacky force closes.  fix permissions did nothing,  did a format and clean wipe then reinstalled, everything is running great so far.  So, not like this is new news but if you're having funky problems, might want to do a full wipe!

Don't flash 7.0.3 if you are on Supersonic or Speedy, we made a mistake. Fix coming shortly.

cyanogen cyanogen
@
@Morenicano it will crash if you try and turn on 4G because some code for CM 7.1 accidentally got in there.

Also, if you are running a CM 7.1 nightly, don't try and downgrade to 7.0.3! The nightly builds already have the security patch!

Forgot to say thanks! I had forgotten rom manager has this option since I rarely use it and work straight in recovery :)

Anybody else lose flash video playback? Its weird cuz I can hear the audio and see the logo of the website hosting the video but the window stays black.
