Given the recent explosion of nightly users, I understand your need for a place to discuss them, and/or ask if other users are having similar issues as you...this is that place

  • DO NOT: Post to the bug tracker
  • DO NOT: Open another thread (I will enforce this with temp bans)
  • DO NOT: Think of this as official forum support; this thread will be strictly user to user support. Don't expect CM-dev help.
** These CyanogenMod builds are highly experimental and unsupported.
**
** Please refrain from submitting bug reports for any issues
** you may encounter while running one of these builds.
**
** Submitting bug reports on nightly builds is the leading
** cause of male impotence.

Don't know if it's an issue with the gapps or the cm7 rom, but voice input (microphone) on the keyboard is missing.

Also whoever does the gapps, needs to add the carhomelauncher.apk otherwise Car Home won't work.

EDIT: n/m on the voice input, gotta install the voice search first.

No matter what I've done, the Bluetooth and GPS buttons can't be removed in the notification bar widget. They even duplicate when i turn it on in CM notification power widget.

Man totally NOT liking the nightlys.
Any changes to /system/ when you flash an updated nightly IT'S ALL GONE.
I moved a bunch of ringtones/notification tones to /system/media/
and moved the gmail/gmaps/otherstuff to /system/app.

wiped dalvik cache and cache today, and updated to nightly build 5.
guess what. my changes ARE ALL GONE!
This was NOT how it was during Nexus One nightlies.

Chill, relax, breathe.. :)

The updater script & backup script are still being tweaked. Its a nightly, and the first few at that; expect differences.

:)

Installed my first nightly tonight ... 5.

So far things are looking really good. I encountered a bug in exchange mail adding people to a forwarded message for work. There was no way to close out of the address field box without backing out of mail which (fortunately) saved the message as draft.  Anyone else see this?

Running nightly 7 today so far so good.

If you're having issues with Car Home, just download/update it from the market, that fixed the problem on my device.

Hi, testing CM7 on my Nexus.

I cannot connect to my carrier network on the CM7 nightly, because I can't change the MNC attribute of my APN.

To reproduce : go to Network settings => Mobile networks => APN => Choose an existing APN => change MNC attribute, save the APN : boom! The APN is destroyed!
