Given the recent explosion of nightly users, I understand your need for a place to discuss them, and/or ask if other users are having similar issues as you...this is that place

  • DO NOT: Post to the bug tracker
  • DO NOT: Open another thread (I will enforce this with temp bans)
  • DO NOT: Think of this as official forum support; this thread will be strictly user to user support. Don't expect CM-dev help.
** These CyanogenMod builds are highly experimental and unsupported.
**
** Please refrain from submitting bug reports for any issues
** you may encounter while running one of these builds.
**
** Submitting bug reports on nightly builds is the leading
** cause of male impotence.

W00t! Official CM7 Nightlies! Downloading now! Will report back! Thanks everyone who was involved in bringing this tasty gingerbread-y goodness to us! :)

Edit: Just cleared cache/dalvik and flashed over Fitsnugly's CM7 build and so far no problems!  Its nice to have the official nightlies from Team Douche themselves!
on a side note does anyone know how to enable Wifi Calling in CM7?  Would you just flash the same old stuff that is shown here? I'm just nervous about flashing that kernel in if its not gb compatible

Figures this happens right after my screen cracks. Now I gotta wait for the replacement from HTC before I can dig into the official nightlies. But I was happy with the fitsnugly alpha I was running before my phone took a dive (well, actually I did, but that is another story).

But YAY!! I am glad that CM7 is getting there.

Download everything from his post and load the latest HBOOT (3rd link and phone might reboot), then load actual CM7 (first link) followed by gapps. It is recommended to wipe both regular cache and dalvik. A total data wipe is not always needed. It has been hit and miss with people. I was able to successfully load CM7 without wiping.

Just make sure you nandroid.

Thank you!  But just to make it clear.  I am using ClockworkMod Recovery 2.5.1.0.  Can I run all three of these zip files as "install zip from sdcard" and then "choose zip from sdcard"?  The only one I'm unsure of really is the HBOOT one.

You can flash Hboot from reccovery. Put on sd card, chose zip, flash.
It will reboot into your current CM6.  Than go into recovery again and flash the CM7 rom and Gapps

Flash the zip in recovery if you like the risky method. Otherwise find the file and flash via ADB which is much safer and will not brick your N1 if it goes west.

What are the commands for flashing the 0.35 hboot via adb?
Danger is not my business :D

And a few simple question left:
Sorry for c&p from xda:
1.) Do i have any disadvantages with the new hboot? Currently i'm runnig still the 0.33 one....
2.) Would i be able to flash the old ROMS like CM6.1?
3.) Would i be able to revert back to the 0.33 one?

Is this considered alpha? If it had to be labeled lol. And with the new HBOOT can I still restore CM6 or do I need a different HBOOT? What is the HBOOT?

Thanks!

awesome..good to see the nightly is back.. :D

Oh btw, is the gapps file really 4.4MB big? seems weirdly small.

Good question..If I don't like CM with gingerbread and I want to come back to CM6,just restore Nandroid backup or I need to flash Froyo Hboot?
