Well I actually tried to restore back to stock the other night when i first rooted because I was really scared I messed up. But no RUU has been released yet for US Cellular customers on Desire CDMA. Right now it's connecting fine, but it's just random.

Thanks for the advice but I don't think its the wifi. It's really just random. It's connecting fine now and I thought it was just slow at waking up and connecting but it connects as soon as I unlock my phone now. But an hour ago I couldn't even refresh facebook. So I have no idea whats going on with it.

If it looks okay, you might try changing your router's channel just for experiment's sake.

By the way you don't need a ruu to restore back to stock. All you need is you back up as I have uscc. I think ennon might also.

So far thats helping. I used the wifi analyzer and found a better channel to switch to and haven't had any problems yet. I'll keep ya posted.

Thanks 2fast. blk might have found my solution. Thats good to know I don't need a ruu. Everywhere I had read kept talking about using a ruu to get back to stock so that's what had me thinking that. Thanks for the info. This forum is so helpful.

As far as the ruu. You have been missed informed. When you root it voids the warranty. As long as you made a back up you can restore it at any point in time. If cmtd was used it needs installed first. Well why you see the ruu talk. It is because everyone wants one to restore the warranty. As it will wipe root out. Which is honestly a big plus. I still don't really understand why root voids your warranty besides overclocking.

Thanks for that. I checked it but it was already set to never sleep. So I'm really not sure whats going on but its annoying because I cant use wifi half of the time. I think I'm gonna try going back to Stock. If I wanted to just reinstall the cyanogen ROM what steps would I follow? Do I somehow delete the one thats on here and then flash it or can I just reflash it?
