Can some one please explain me what is this. I have htc legend, and I can see that here is a colorized mod for this phone to. My question is why is zip file so large, does it conatins whole rom? I already have CM 6.1 stable version on my phone. So I persume if I flash this one everything will be the same, except menus and status bar icons will be in colors. But what if I flash latest nightly and than this mod over it, would then still have the latest nightly capabilites or what? Thanks for your effort!
this is the whole rom for 6.1
same as 6.1 with colored images for alot of the grey menu icons, black and white settings menu icons, black and white notifications icons

i have only done dream/sapphire for nightlies, so if you want to do a nightly after flashing this, you'll lose the colorization

Thanks for the info:). Have you consider making some kind of flashable theme for each phone, instead of including whole rome, somenhing that would just change colors, and could be applied later after you flash new CM version of rom. Or even better, it would be great if you could commit this changes into official CM, so that every rom would already have this included, I think people wouldn't mind such appearance tweak. Just a suggestion. Thanks again!

Cheers

This mostly cannot be done, IIRC, because a lot of the icons are hidden inside the .APK files - and you cannot flash just a part of it, only as a whole.

Ok I get it, but what about my other suggestion, which is commiting this changes into cm code, so roms would have this kind of coloring already built in?

Just letting Slide users know that this is a full ROM and you need to flash the same as CM; flash ROM > flash Gapps > and if you have a2ext, flash the a2ext package and it boots right up.

That's for the dream/magic, I'm on the EVO. I took your 6.1 version and used theme porter to port it to nightly 198. Looks amazing thanks a lot.

Im already on 6.1, so do I have to wipe, flash rom, flash gapps?

Just flashed this over my existing CM6.1 and works perfectly. It's friggin' awesome. The only thing I've noticed is that the "in call" screen you now need to select menu for call options such as end call. Is there any way to get the "end call" button back onto the in call screen?

This looks nice and i want to flash it ... just have 2 questions about it:

I moved some apps from /system to /data (for easier upgrading)
And i used Firerat“s script to get apps2sdext (including /data/data, /data/system and davlik-cache).

Will flashing this over my installation overwrite these (my apps2sdext-settings)?

(i guess i can remove the system-apps from the list by hand before, right ?)

Thx
Marcus

Just tried it (hav nandroid to go back ;-) - and it seems not to touch anything but my edited vol.fstab (because of apps2sdext-mount-bug).
It really looks nice.

I just found one (very minor) thing already :

When you dont have any network the icon that shows in status bar (without any green bars) has one small white pixel above the icon itself - first i thought it was a pice of dust on my screen. Fortunately this is not shown very often ;-)

Very good work anyway !

Thx
Marcus

Installed this yesterday on my Evo, and love it! You've really dug through and dropped nice improvements all over the place.

CM 6.1.1 just dropped, and while I'd like to update, there's nothing listed that's a big enough improvement to make me give up your beautiful colorization job.  While I selfishly hope you'll generate colorized versions of each new CM release, I'm guessing the pervasiveness of all your improvements must make each release a lot of work for you to update.  Have you considered submitting your improvements to the CM main trunk?
