Also, the stock version only supports the old radio. I plan to add a separate build for the new radio. I removed the bootloader/radio checks to give you guys rope to hang yourselves in the meantime.

Do I simply type dmesg in terminal and upload output?

I've been getting the green tint on my T-Mobile MT3G original since after CM 6.1 nightly 252 when using the ezterry kernels which are based off of the CM code.  I am using the 2708 (28.25 to be exact) radio to gain the extra free ram.  Using ezterry 251 kernel or any pershoot results in no green tint.  The issue with the pershoot kernels though with the MT3G is it is always causing my phone to lock up or reboot at random.

I've run the newer ezterry kernels based off of CM and just lived with the green tint long enough to find those kernels do not cause my phone to reboot or lock up like the pershoot ones.

I've a sapphire 32a w/ 2708 radio flashed 6.1D/S with and without wipe ...same green tint.
My wife has the same phone but stock 2302 radio flashed it from 6.1RC to 6.1D/S without. And with wipe and still get the green tint
She has the original android 1.6 SPL and Radio!

Just flashed her phone back to 6.1RC w/ nandroid backup,  all is good.

Sounds like its got nothing to do with the SPL or radio version. IMHO

unlike the mytouch3g original owners I can't run pershot's latest kernels. the screen is still green

the only kernel I've found to work is: ezBiffTestKernel20101031-ebi0_S.zip

Hello people,

i installed the new 6.1.0 stable today. after it boots to the animation screen i got a yellow screen. i changed the render settings to none but i still have a yellow screen. (it's not completely yellow, but it looks like the fx render)

is there something wrong ? i wiped everything before flashing.

please help me !

Any kernel prior to 252 doesn't have the green tint.

Yellow screen? As in all yellow or it's like a yellow render? If so that'd a different tint from the usual issue people have which is a green tint and this issue is solved by flashing pershoot's kernel.

Just Installed the ezterry Kernel works fine.  this was the file name: ezBiffTestKernel20101024-ebi0_S

I had ran into the "green" tint problem when I updated to CM 6.10 and then I installed the pershoot kernel 263.5.9 and was not able to get my audio jack to work, I couldn't even find the pershoot 2708 kernel to try it.  But like I said the other kernel worked.

Now I have no green tint, and audio jack works, will let you know the stability and battery performance of this new update.

Can anyone help me with with what the right kernel is for MT3G LE version and what is the procedure for loading a new kernel. As of now I just go into recovery and load the new kernel I downloaded. Ok, so i excitedly updated from CM 6.1 RC1 to 6.1 Stable in hopes that it would fix my recurring issue with my non-working headphone jack. My original post was actually linked by someone on page 2 i think. Well the update went smoothly after a clean wipe and all. But now i have the green tint issue as well. Ive been trying to flash a new kernel but im unsure whether im going about it in the right way. I installed ezterrys and the pershoot (tried both) to the root of my card, wiped data, cache and installed zip after booting into recovery thru rom manager. It says install succesful and than when i reboot it shows the green mytouch screen then i get a blank screen and nothing. So i just rebooted to recovery and reflash 6.1. Im at a loss as to what to do. Im seeing that users on this topic are having varying degrees of success and would like to get there too. So any help would b appreciated.
