The "low disk space" warning appears way too often these days.

Doesn't the desire have over 512 internal storage?

Is there a setting to increase the internal storage?

Have you applied S-OFF? You can try the N1 partition table to increase /data/ for more apps.

Is there a guide about how to use s-off to increase phone internal storage? Googled a bit, can't find any.

Get erverything you need for S-Off HERE
When you are S-Off you can flash the N1 Partition Layout via fastboot. you can get it on the same site.

There are some img files such as "Bravo N1Table" and a "AlphaRev 1.5 HBOOT reflash utility"on the page you pointed me to.

In order to s-off my desire, should I use both the reflash utility and the other img files? And how do I use this reflash utility? I didn't find a user guide for the reflash utility on the web page.

Search for Data2sd and data2ext. I got 1.6Gb free internal storage :-D

I've been trying to figure out how to flash this AlphaRev N1table, but can't seem to get it working.

At first, I've tried to use the description on alpharev.nl:
1) Nandroid backup in recovery.
2) Verify the MD5SUM of the file you downloaded against the one in the table.
3) Flash HBOOT with your phone in fastboot mode (Back+POWER) -> 'fastboot flash hboot bravo_alphaspl.img' (change into the correct filename for the HBOOT you downloaded)
4) 'Fastboot reboot-bootloader'
5) 'Fastboot erase cache'
6) Boot recovery, wipe everything and restore.

However, I can't seem to figure out how to do step 3. When I reboot my phone in fastboot mode, what do I do next? Do I have to use some kind of utility on my computer to flash it, and if so which one and where do I find it? This is probably something very basic, maybe someone can explain it to me..?

I've also tried flashing the bravo_alphasp1-n1table.img file to my phone using unrevoked, but I get an error message ('Failed to push recovery. Terminating.') while doing so.

(BTW I'm using a HTC Desire GSM, S-Off, Cyanogenmod 6.1.0 stable)

I s-offed my desire last night and got an extra 50m internal phone storage.
If your phone isn't s-off, you need to use the "AlphaRev 1.5 HBOOT reflash utility" before flashing the bravo_alphasp1-n1table.img.

About the 3rd step, you need to type the "fastboot flash hboot bravo_alphaspl.img" command in your computer with the "fastboot" tool, which can be found in the wiki of this forum. If you're doing this in a windows system, you might need to install HTC sync first .

best thing I ever did was to s-off and flash the N1. Hated having to constantly fight that low app warning sitting between 15-20mb free.

I can't get this to work. I'm a little n00b so I can't understand what's wrong. I followed the guide and everything seems fine. However when I flash the bravo_alphaspl-n1table.img the fastboot do not give any response but cmd says:

C:\android-sdk\tools>fastboot flash hboot bravo_alphaspl-n1table.img

When I reboot the storage is all the same.
