Hello.

I decided to do the upgrade today OTA for M11.

Upgrade went fine, except for the fact that my mobile indicator shows no service now that it has been installed.  I am able to send/receive text and calls, however no data (unless on WiFi).

Has anyone seen this before?

I experienced it once before when trying the nightlys.  I reverted back to the previous snapshot release and it went away, until now.

CM version: 11-20141008-SNAPSHOT-M11-d2lte
Model: SGH-I747M

Let me know if you need any more data.

Thanks!

I'm having the same problem. I just restored back to M10 because it wouldn't find my carrier!

Throwing my hat in the ring for this one as well.

I can make/receive calls, make texts however it shows "No Service" while there are full bars.

Any thoughts, Cyanogenmod gods?

Same here!

Also noticed that the APN list is empty. I tried adding a APN for ATT but it vanishes once I hit Save.

another related issue is that i cannot downgrade the Network type...i.e from LTE to 3G or 2G

+1 for me.  Using a SGH-T999/d2tmo and I'm experiencing the exact same behavior as you AT&T folks.

just updated my i9300 from M10 to M11 and I can not confirm the above issues.
everything is working fine here, APN's are listed (and editable), data service available, network changeable (3G/2G).
no problems at all (so far)...

On T-Mobile, have similar problems with a samsung build for a while now, since M8.  I am going to upgrade to M11 today and see if it fixes it.  For me, if I switch "Preferred network type" from 3G to 2G it will connect for a couple hours.  When it goes down (or if I want decent data speeds), I can switch back to 3G and it will connect for a couple hours.  This is found under Settings > Mobile networks.

Any tips on how to file a bug?  I just joined and can't find a solution to this problem yet and want to let the developers know with logs / whatever else they need.  Just don't know how to go about doing that.

... having the same issues here as mentionned above on a SGS3 i747M (from Telus in Kanada)

- No Service / Internet Service
- APN is blank.
- Can't add APN.
- Can't change Preferred Network
- Reverting back to M10 give me all sorts of Force Closed

- Upgraded through CM Updater from M10.

Besides that, everything is peachy.

It looks like a bug has already been tracked, so just comment/vote if you have any updates.  There's a suggested solution that might be worth trying.

Modem upgrade did the trick for me.

For SGH-T999:

For I747:

For any other models, google it.

I tried rolling back to M10 after having issues and got stuck in a boot loop, but was able to reflash M11, apply the modem upgrade, then everything was fine.

I'm using sgh-i747m model (unlock) ... Using it with metro PCs and can't find their network or the t-mobile which is part of it... Just WiFi only... Looks like a (bug) situation just for the (d2lte) galaxy s3's... Went back to m10 till any fix news... For now (m11) is a no go for all of us under (d2lte) galaxy s3 downloads...I also did tried to add APN manually but not letting me either.
